I have suffered with Fibromyalgia and CVID for 8 years. I have been to over 20 doctors seeking help. Some have dismissed me as another woman wanting to whine about my pain. Others have doped me up on so much medicine I couldn’t function. And, then there are those that try to help only to finally say, “I’m sorry there is nothing more I can do to help you.” I’ve tried Homeopathic Remedies from Chiropractors with no help just a lot of money down the drain. I finally found a doctor who was willing to help and he put me on two medications and I started to feel human again. One problem with that, one of the medications caused so much clotting in my blood, guess what happened... I had a heart attack. Talking about thinking you were at the end of your ROPE. I was there. I have found help – not completely ridding me of my problems but there is HOPE! Most sites are doom and gloom always. I believe that there is a mind set to this disease as well as the treatments that you use to help you along the way. I would love to have an intelligent group of Fibromyalgia and/or CVID suffers use this as a discussion forum for healing rather than whining. I invite you to tell your story both the good and bad and how you are on your way back up. Maybe along the way we can all lift each other up and change suffers to survivors as they do with other debilitating if not deadly illnesses. – Jackie
